I have played hundreds of two player games. We each play with 2 boards though which I think is the only way to play a 2 player 7 wonders game. one player passes straight across and the other player crosses when passing.

Sorry, not quite sure I get what you mean. How do you do it?
If I'm understanding Huginn correctly, let's say we have the following setup:

Player 1
Board A Board C

Board B Board D
Player 2

The player order would be A, B, C, D. Player 1 "passes straight across" (A -> B and C -> D) and Player 2 "crosses when passing" (B -> C and D -> A).

Still have no idea how this works? Do players score two boards?

Yes so you are essentially playing two wonders and scoring for two boards each person. but looking at the diagram if you were player 2- Board B's neighbors would be A to the left and C to the right. You would not be allowed to buy from your other board D for resources. At the end of the game you would score for all boards and declare a winner based off of the winning board. Does that clarify better?

Yes it does. I may try that. How do the cards get selected and passed again?
