Yeah, it's a pretty basic strategy that's functional with the base spellbooks :] Not too much surprising to it frankly. Personally, I'd argue that calling it a "strategy" is overstating it. It's a tactic. A useful one sure, but honestly pretty incidental (I want to protect my mage from enemy spells + I want a good spell in my wand = This strategy).I feel somewhat loathe to call it a strategy honestly, at least as described. Could you dedicate a book to keeping your wand alive? Yeah, probably. But that's not what's being discussed here.
