Well, I can understand both views, and as I said in my other post, I like the idea to give the money directly to the creators and would not mind to pay a little more if needed, but on the other side in kickstarter you are not buying the game, you are funding it, helping it to happen. You are an investor. I don´t think that they would have to win no money from kickstarter either, but you are paying in advance, to fund a project that can go wrong (I would dare to say that use to go wrong more times than not), so for me it has no sense at all that the game could cost you more than it cost to a shop. The goodies are ok, but they are more to encourage you to kickstart than the reason the price is so high and you get them when you hit some milestones because at certain amount of backers they have certain amount of benefits, and they share some, but it could be a valid point.And the real shipping cost cannot be that high if funagain sends the games to you for free spending 75$, so leaving the international shipping out, if I were an american backer, it would be hard to understand why I´m paying for a game, even with some goodies, 40$ backing it on kickstarter when a shop is paying around half of it (and we have to remember that the milestones for the goodies can or cannot be hit).
