This sums up the whole campaign for me. The game looks like it could be fun, but we still don't really know how all the gameplay even works.
Normally I wouldn't think about backing a project and not grabbing some/most/all of the expansions, but this time I'm keeping my pledge at the $35 level. How can I worry about stretch goals and extras when I'm unsure what the base game really is?
It's hard to get super excited about a project when you're basically taking a leap of faith. The pictures of the printed items kept me from cancelling my pledge all together, as it looks like this is actually happening.
No offense meant, but think this is not fair. We've had MUCH more info than most KS deliver on this project (cards, rules, strategy guide, Eric answering basically all question)
And the leap of faith is therefore much smaller than other KS I've backed IMO.
