I agree on all counts. He seemed to get off to a great start, and then stalled with trying to scrape together credits here and there to keep building things. I also wonder if slimming down his deck a bit would have overall improved his situation so he didn't have to draw so much.
I'm generally unsure how much I like the Toolbox as well. On one hand it's the gift that keeps on giving. On the other it takes a major investment early on to pay off over the long haul.
I really like the color of the post; it really helped to read through it and keep things organized. :)
