You have played it online, right? Face to face the game takes a very long time to play. I usually play top-rated Euro games with a one-evening group, but TtA we have only just managed to get through the beginners scenario, twice. For the full game we would have to use at least two nights, and do a lot of practice games in advance to get the pace up. I think it is not unfair to say that the extremely high bgg ranking for TtA is dependent of a lot of online players experience. You have to manage a turn in 1 minute 13 seconds to keep up with the box 120+ claim, I say 4 minutes 15 seconds is the pace I can hold.
