Christopher,I'm not enough of a Tolkien geek to add an incisive Hobbit answer.
But as someone who's stepped in front of a tidal wave of (often understandable) anger and frustration, and who seems to be dealing with it in a manner that's far more articulate, respectful and straightforward that I ever imagine I could, I'm hoping that the process doesn't leave you like one of Shelob's victims- a dried up husk!
That's only a selfish wish, though- because I want you around to make sure that CG's next games get to everyone smoothly! I've enjoyed noodling off and reading your BGG reviews and various geeklists. Not trying to get all bro-mancy here, but each time I read the threads here, I find myself thinking "good bloke doing his best in a crap situation".
So I hope for everyone's sake that GtR lands soon for all backers (even us in distant Kiwiland) and that we can all get cracking on new projects and having too much bloody fun.
