My initial reason for not pursuing the new deluxe edition of Phantom Leader was because I figured HL:CAO, TAL, and PL would all be too similar; too much of the same game. After playing TAL I would have no problem justifying the purchase of PL. HL:CAO & TAL are different enough, and require different thought processes, so much so that they are really two completely different games that share a few mechanics and a theme.The only things holding me back from deluxe PL now are expense and time. I just don't have the time to enjoy both HL:CAO & TAL as much as I want, much less the other solitaire games I own, to justify the purchase at this time.
